I am learning to use literal and inference skills. I had to use information from Kensukes Kingdom to write my poster. I found it easy to draw the person and write what we know. I found It tricky to decide how to make the person.

Bank Robbers
I am learning to identify the main idea in a news item.
A group of hackers steal up to a billion dollars from banks.They robbed 100 banks and they have not gotten caught.This happening since 2013. its been 2 years.They gathered knowledge to steal money without raising suspicion then they robbed another bank but left 10 million still in the vault.
I am learning to write the main idea in a text.I found it easy to write the main idea.Next i will find something else to write about.

Main Idea Kiwi Kids News
I am learning to identify the main idea in a news item.
The main idea is that a dog can be richer than you because their owners have millions of dollars but when they die all of the money goes to the dogs.Like this dog. He got passed on $372 millions dollars from his owner.

Reading - Authors purpose
I am learning to identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel, think about or see.
Success Criteria.
I will know I have been successful when:
- I can identify what I think the author’s purpose might be
- I can identify the big idea or message/s in the story through character actions or events
- I can describe the thoughts, feelings and actions in the story and link it to author purpose
- I can find evidence in the text to support my thinking, feelings and observations
- I can identify how the illustrations help to get the author’s message across.
This is my reading evidence I found this piece of work good but not that good because the first time my teacher read it I had to do it again. I found it tricky to identify how the story made me feel and what to think about.I thought about how to treat my grand parents when I go to India.
