I am learning to find the direction from a to b. I found it tricky on some questions when it was in the middle of the block but the rest was easy. I am proud because i got there in the end. Next i will try to get everything right.

THE STORY OF CAPTAIN PUPSTER AND HIS SAD STORY AND ADVENTURE

I am learning to write a story on story bird. It was tricky to think of something creative.I am proud because i found a couple of ideas and put them together while i was putting it together i thought of some more ideas then i came up with the perfect story. Next i will try to do a fun story about a hamster or maybe a different animal or no animal   

Maori Legend

Once upon a time there was a gigantic forest. Inside this forest were 2 tribes they were split between a awa(river). On one side there was a tribe named waitakare tribe they had a mean and strong chief his name was also waitakare he had a well managed tribe of fairy people that had bright blue eyes. He also had a prince his name was Ethan. 


Across the awa was another tribe with another mean and strong leader her name was chief Dennis Hunua. She also had a tribe of fairy people but they had bright green eyes and they had a princes her name was silver. 


One day prince Ethan was hungry so he went to the awa but he forgot his matou(hook) so he dived into the water and got himself some eka(fish),mussel and some other seafood he went to shore and started to have some kai(food) across the awa princes silver was hungry to so she went to the awa and the same thing happend she forgot her hook she Jumped into the water and got the same seafood as prince Ethan she went back to land and started eating her kai.


When he finished eating he looked forward and saw his love princes . Then prince  called out to her and he connived her to come to his tribe and she agreed the request When the hanua tribe found out that there princes was missing they decided to fight for the princes so the hanua tribe practiced and practiced until they thought they were ready when the waitakare tribe found out that they were coming they practised and practised learning defences and they thought that they were ready both tribes met at the awa and decided war.


The hanua tribe made the first move but the waitakare defended and it keeped on repeating and repeating and repeating until  they made to much noise and the guard of the earths secrets came rom underground and banned them for making such noise and he also brought up mountains to bring peace to the land.  








  I am learning to write a narative. I found it tricky to first write it in our book then on the computer but I have done it and i am happy.

Interview

We are learning to make an Interview. I found it tricky to say the questions and not mess up hearing we can't practice or have a second chance. I am proud because I did this interview with no mistakes or mess ups. Next I will do a interview with someone famous. 

Ice cream collage

This is my collage about ice cream or me eating ice cream. Before we got to eat the ice cream we had to hold it for about 15 minutes and we had a patner he had to take pictures for a melting afect at the end the ice cream tasted delishous and very yummy.

This is my How Did The Story Make You Feel. my teacher sent it to it i chose the book Bad Island because I was reading that book when she sent me How Did The Story Make You Feel.
I found it tricky to the questions with when it said explain why. I am proud because I only read 1/4 of the book but I managed to do it.

What Do You Prefer

This is my What Do You Prefer.
Me and my class did this for the year 5 fund-raising to go to camp the next year.
I found it tricky to pick the flavours and what to pick against ice-cream.
I am proud because I think my teacher and class liked it and i most diffidently liked it.
Next I might try to do something for breakfast because this one is for dessert.

Setting Complication Resolution

This is my narratives setting,complication and resolution.My setting is if you can't see stranded island sea,boat,beach and city 

Complication falling out of boat,getting stranded on an island,volcano erupts and homer got injured

Resolution builded a raft out of bamboo and escaped with Homer is cured and becomes friends with the other guys.

Graphic Poetry.

fractions

I am learning to solve ordering fractions equations. I found it tricky the first time to figure out what you have to do in this but then I found out. I am proud that I finished 2-3 questions above in the video. Next I will try to get all of the questions right in the whole 10 questions.  

mult/div problem

I am learning to solve a multiplication and division problem. I found it easy to solve the equation by multiplication and by division. Next I will try this strategy with bigger numbers and maybe addition and subtraction.

I am learning to compair two websites together and make a venn diagram with it. I found it tricky to make space for all the names of ice cream they make. I am proud that i started today and finished it today. Next i will make more venn diagrams maybe on computer because i did this on the i pad.

WALT write a character profile

I found it tricky to write a description and draw Tim the boy. I am proud because I wrote a description about tim the boy and finished the picture without anything wrong.

I am proud because i finished a speech in about a week from a long holiday.
I found it tricky to write facts for reason 2 and 3.
Next I will copy the website that i did the speech on above and do something els on it.

Maths problem

        

Grandma baked 39 cookies.  Tom ate 7 of them.  Grandma kept 5 for herself.  Grandma gave Tom the rest of the cookies to take home with him.  How many did Tom take home.

I am learning to subtract and add.  I found it tricky to draw 39 little circles.  I am proud of that I finished a problem really quickly that was all subtraction.  Next I will do more subtraction problems but harder.

My trip to India.

When I went to India we had to do a Traditional function that was called a Munji. It was really fun for me and my Brother. We both had our hair cut.   My Dad did and his two Brothers did it too. I might post some more pictures of the Munji

Holiday Recount

We are learning to write a recount in postcard form.
I found this tricky to remember what I had done and to write what I thought in my mind.  I am proud because I finished it really quickly.  Next time I will copy this website and do more on it.

This is my reading evidence I found this piece of work good but not that good because the first time my teacher read it I had to do it again. I found it tricky to identify how the story made me feel and what to think about.I thought about how to treat my grand parents when I go to India.

Te Tuhi Art - Showcase

I was learning to sketch, dye, and paint a portrait of my self. I found it tricky to copy from my book to the sheet of paper then dye then paint. Next I am going to try again but better.
